Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage the sale and purchase of rural property and associated professional work to build and maintain a strong pipeline.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation and targeted marketing campaigns to attract and secure new business.
  • Drive and contribute to business development activity, including coordinating and hosting networking events.
  • Manage the full sales process from buyer qualification and database management, to negotiating and agreeing on purchasing and sales terms.
  • Expand market presence through strategic networking, relationship building, and identifying cross-divisional opportunities.
  • Deliver outstanding client service at every stage of the journey, ensuring full compliance with company procedures.

The Candidate:

With proven sales experience and a genuine passion for rural property, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and converting new opportunities, negotiating transactions, and producing high-quality marketing and proposal materials that position the business competitively in the market.

A confident and highly professional relationship builder, you will thrive in a client-facing environment, networking across the region, securing new instructions, and enhancing the company’s profile through proactive business development.

Essential skills:

  • Previous sales experience across farms, estates, and smallholdings.
  • Strong knowledge of the rural property and agricultural sectors.
  • Proven client relationship management.
  • Highly organised, able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A relationship builder skilled in forging long-term business relationships.
  • The ability to generate highly quality proposal documentation.
  • Strong commercial awareness and market insight.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and highly professional.
  • Proactive in identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.
  • Proficient in IT systems, including CRM platforms.
